External/Outbound Link Policy
Summary
Nutaku does not allow any outbound links from the Nutaku domain to an endpoint containing non-Nutaku games or an endpoint that is subsequently leading users (directly or indirectly) to play a non-Nutaku version of the same or a similar product.
Overview
[Updated September 8th, 2020]
To retain players and avoid leading players to off-site gaming destinations, Nutaku is implementing a policy that will restrict the linking of Nutaku traffic (directly or indirectly) to gameplay destinations outside of the Nutaku ecosystem. What this means is that any links on the Nutaku.net and Nutaku.com sites cannot lead to another gaming platform OR a destination containing a link to another gaming platform that contains a version of the same product or similar products.
The same restrictions apply to links leading to a website that offers non-gaming products to players that are not approved by Nutaku.
We will give some specific examples of what is allowed and what is restricted below:
Restricted
Linking from a Nutaku domain page associated with a product (product page, gameplay page, news and updates, pre-registration page, etc..) to another gaming platform
Game teams on Nutaku may not link from a Nutaku domain page associated with their product to any other gaming platforms such as - Steam, Google Play, App Store, Epic Games, Microsoft Store, Erogames, Nijiyome, Johren, or a standalone version of a game
Linking from a Nutaku domain page associated with a product (product page, gameplay page, news and updates, pre-registration page, etc..) to a social media profile containing links to another gaming platform
Game teams on Nutaku may not link from a Nutaku domain page associated with their product to a social media profile (such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Discord etc..) IF it contains links to another platform such as - Steam, Google Play, App Store, Epic Games, Microsoft Store, Erogames, Nijiyome, Johren, or a standalone version of a game
In these instances we request that Partners create a social media feed specifically for their Nutaku version. This will avoid leading players from Nutaku to alternative gaming destinations.
Linking from a Nutaku domain page associated with a product (product page, gameplay page, news and updates, pre-registration page, etc..) to a game developer/publisher website page containing links to another gaming platform
Game teams on Nutaku may not link from a Nutaku domain page associated with their product to an associated website IF the landing page contains links to another platform such as - Steam, Google Play, App Store, Epic Games, Microsoft Store, Erogames, Nijiyome, Johren, or a standalone version of a game
Linking from an application integrated with Nutaku to (as cited above) another gaming platform, a social media profile containing links to another gaming platform, or a game developer/publisher website page containing links to another gaming platform.
Game teams on Nutaku may not link from an APK integrated with the Nutaku platform to an associated website where the landing page is another gaming platform or contains links to another gaming platform such as - Steam, Google Play, App Store, Epic Games, Microsoft Store, Erogames, Nijiyome, Johren, or a standalone version of a game
